Dance Demo at Mother Language Day in Richmond. Each dance will have non-English lyrics and start with an explanation of the lyrics in English. At the Melville Centre on the KPU campus, 8771 Lansdowne Rd, Richmond at 1:00pm for 15 minutes. Meet there at 12:00 noon to rehearse.

Surrey Folk Dancers demonstrate dances at Seniors' Chicken BBQ at Fleetwood Community Centre. Event is from 11:30am to 2:30pm. SIFD entertains from 1-2pm. Celebrating Canada Day.

Dance Demo at Peace Portal Seniors Village, 15441 16th Avenue, Surrey, on Friday, October 5, 2:30-3:30pm. Meet there at 1:00pm to rehearse. We will dress in German costumes and include a few German dances for Oktoberfest. Some participation by the seniors expected.
