Recreational Dancing
Folk Dancing: What is it? Videos
What is it all about?
Folk Dancing is a recreational activity suitable for all ages and abilities. Our dances and music originate from traditional community gatherings in countries around the world. Because they reflect a variety of stories and celebrations, dances range from serene to exuberant.

What happens each evening?
After a short warm-up each evening, the group leader will teach a few dances step by step. The group then will practice additional dances as requested by members. Occasionally, guest folk dance instructors are invited to help us to expand our repertoire.
